Long Time

Hello Lovelies,

It has been quite a minute hasn’t it? I haven’t been inspired during the time I was gone. I didn’t know what to write or share. I am not fully back yet, but I am trying to get back on track.

Kesha released a song last week called Praying and it hit all the feels! The video makes the song that much more deep! Give it a watch!

I may not come back full swing, but I’ll be peaking in here and there ūüôā

Lifestyle: Gallant x Tablo x Eric Nam

Last lifestyle post, I brought you my obsession with the La La Land soundtrack and how it gets me moving in the gym. Well, today I’m back at it again with a new addition. The title says it all.

For those of you who don’t know, both Tablo and Eric Nam rise from South Korea where Tablo is also in a trio group called Epik High.

Cave Me In has a slow and smooth R&B sound with a hint of K-pop. With that and mixing in 3 very talented men doing the vocals, I don’t see why anyone will dislike this track. Don’t believe me? Have a listen!

What did you think? I would love to hear from you. Like, Comment and Share. ‚̧

Bonus: Here’s an interview by Billboard with Tablo and Eric discussing this track.

Lifestyle: La La Land Soundtrack

Hello Beauties,

Today is a quick one, but an obsession of mine! Unless you have lived under a rock recently, you must’ve heard all the hype about La La Land starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Ever since I saw it at the Toronto International Film Festival the past year, I have been on the soundtrack hype.¬†For those that have not seen or heard of it, La La Land is a modern love story between Ryan and Emma. Sounds typical, but the unique thing is that La La Land is a musical!

Don’t get me wrong, the movie was fabulous and I loved every second of it. So much so that I have seen this movie twice since its release in December.¬†Though the movie was amazing, personally, I love the soundtrack the most! ¬†The highs and the lows of a struggling jazz obsessed musician and the ever dreaming actress brings the sound of the music to life! The music encompasses the colourful and upbeat vibes, but also touches upon the feelings of sadness.

The whole thing just makes me want to dance, move and get things done. From doing the ever dreading cardio routine to finishing work to everyday life, it keeps me motivated and moving! You have to listen for yourself!

Comment and let me know what you think. I can’t be the only one here ūüėõ

Skincare: Calendar

Hello Beauties!

It is the start of a new year. One of my goals for 2017 is¬†to step up my skincare game. I was scrolling through Pinterest the other day, and found a picture of a Skincare Calendar. This calendar has 2 columns that consist¬†the days of the week in one and the skincare routine on the other. I thought to myself, what I great idea! This way not only will it guide me on what I’m putting on my face that specific day, but also¬†have it as a mental note to remind me not to¬†slack on skincare!

Thanks to the harsh winter weather in Canada, I am currently experiencing some dry skin on my T zone, some flaky skin on my cheeks, and noticeable long existing blackheads on my nose.

Without further to do, here is my calendar.

Winter Skincare Calendar
Monday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Tone + Serum + Moisturize
Tuesday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Tone + Facial Oil +  Moisturize
Wednesday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Tone + Exfoliate (Soft / Gel) + Serum + Sheet Mask + Moisturize
Thursday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Clay Mask + Tone + Facial Oil + Moisturize
Friday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Tone + Serum + Sheet Mask + Moisturize
Saturday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Tone + Serum + Moisturize
Sunday Cleanse + Tone + Moisturize + SPF Cleanse + Exfoliate (Rough) + Clay Mask + Extraction + Disinfect + Wash Off Mask + Tone + Serum + Eyes + Moisturize

I have started this regime for about a week now and I definitely see results. My T zone is significantly a lot less dry. My blackheads on my nose are improving – they are some stubborn little buggers. My cheeks are a lot smoother and softer.

Verdict? I LOVE this idea and will keep this up!

NOW, I challenge you all to create a calendar of your own that caters to your skin and see what happens!

Comment down below and let me know what your Skincare Calendar looks like and how has it worked or not worked for you.
